A Journey that Transcends Trekking— It’s a Pilgrimage to the Sky. Suppose you’ve ever dreamed of standing above the clouds, gazing at the mighty Everest from a summit of your own. In that case, the Lobuche East Peak Expedition via Gokyo Lakes and Cho-La Pass offers more than just a physical challenge—it offers deep personal reward.

Over 22 awe-inspiring days, this journey takes you far beyond the popular Everest Base Camp route, into the quieter, more mystical Gokyo Valley. You’ll discover turquoise glacial lakes, cross the formidable Cho-La Pass, and finally stand on top of Lobuche East (6,119 m)—a perfect Himalayan viewpoint offering a 360° panorama of snow giants including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.

This is not just a climb—it’s a story of effort, beauty, and connection: to the mountains, to the culture, and yourself.

Why This Trek Stands Out

  • Climb a Real Himalayan Peak (6,119m): Lobuche East offers a thrilling yet achievable challenge for fit trekkers and beginner climbers ready to take it to the next level.
  • Explore the untouched Gokyo Valley: fewer crowds, mesmerizing glacier-fed lakes, and the serene beauty of the Ngozumpa Glacier.
  • Iconic Everest Experience: Visit Everest Base Camp and summit Kala Patthar for face-to-face moments with the world’s highest mountain.
  • Cross Cho-La Pass (5,420m): A true adventure route—remote, icy, and incredibly scenic.
  • Rich Sherpa Culture: Stay in cozy teahouses, visit ancient monasteries, and feel the rhythm of life in the Khumbu.

Best Seasons to Join

  • Spring (April to mid-June): Mild temps, stable conditions, pre-monsoon clarity
  • Autumn (mid-September to late-November): Crisp air, vivid mountain views, dry trails

Monsoon (June–Aug) and deep winter (Dec–Feb) are not ideal for climbing due to weather risks.

Who Is This Expedition For?

If you’ve trekked before at altitude (like Everest Base Camp or Annapurna) and you’re ready for the next step, this trip is for you. It’s designed for fit trekkers who want a taste of real alpine mountaineering without going on a full 8,000-meter expedition. You’ll be coached and guided every step of the way.

Your Peak Is Calling

This 22-day adventure is more than ticking off a summit—it’s about pushing your boundaries, witnessing raw Himalayan beauty, and creating memories that stay with you for a lifetime. With the right mix of challenge, support, and inspiration, the Lobuche East Peak Expedition via Gokyo & Cho-La is the journey that transforms trekkers into climbers.

I went to Everest Base Camp trek in the year 2012 with Shri Deepak Khanal of Osho World Adventure. It was a very good experience to be with Shri Deepakji for this trek. From Kathmandu-Kathmandu, there was nothing to worry if you go with Osho World. You will feel your home in the heart of Himalyan Mountains. The arrangement and planning for the trek was very nice. I recommend Osho World adventure for anybody who want to wander in the Nepal Himalaya. I thank once again to Shri Deepak Khanal for his endeavor in taking and guiding many of us to this beautiful world of Nepal Himalaya. Wish him further success...

The trek is very nice and varied, the accommodations and the food were very good. We got stuck in Kutumsang due to snow and illness. Our guide Ram did everything possible to bring us back safely. Perfect place for Tailors Tour Packages for Nepal and Tibet We five friends from USA and India visited Osho World Adventure, Kathmandu last month to get support to organize Kathmandu heritage tour packages followed by Meditation and Transformation Camp in Nepal. Mr. Deepak - the owner of the company himself helped us to tailor our tour packages and helped us to organize mediation camp at Tapoban. They helped us to develop our packages such a way that our tour became the most memorial and blessed one. The team is more meditative, spiritual and very kind and friendly. They treat you humanely. You can trust them confidently. Overall, the perfect tour operator in Nepal, where you get services with more personalized.

Very nice people and good service We went shopping for a good travel agency in Thamel and we immediately felt at ease at Osho World Adventures. All the staff is really friendly and genuine. Deepak (the owner) even invited us to celebrate a festival with his family. At Osho's, we booked a chitwan tour and we did a trekking. The trekking (nagarkot, chisopani, dhulikhel and namo buddha) was very nice! We stayed at nice hotels and all the meals were included (you can choose from the menu). The guide (Raj) was very friendly and explained a lot about the daily life in Nepal and about the festivals. He also knew a lot about wildlife and took good care of his customers. We always felt very safe. The Chitwan tour was also very nice. Osho provided busseats and arranged the hotel with sightseeings. Hotel Jungle sunset Camp is situated next to the river and next to the olifant bathing. We even saw rhinos from our hotel! We would fully recommend Osho to others who would like to have a good service for a reasonable price and very friendly staff.

Fazit: 100% Empfehlung.

A good choice for your trip in Nepal The travel agency's master is very talkative. He will plan your travel immediately and give you advice properly. Not only forehead but also proceed and after about your trip provide you good service.老闆是個非常健談的人。他會依照你所希望的旅遊行程作立即性的規劃,也會給予適當的行程建議。不管是行程前、旅途中或售後服務都很不錯。但希望機場接送的時間安排上可更充足些。
