 Easy

Perfect for beginners, families, or anyone seeking a gentle introduction to Nepal’s natural beauty.

  • Walking Duration: 2–6 hours per day
  • Terrain: Well-marked paths, heritage sites, or low-altitude hills
  • Maximum Altitude: Up to 3,200 meters
  • Requirements: Basic fitness; no prior trekking experience needed
  • Risks: Minimal; altitude sickness is not a concern

 Easy to Moderate

Ideal for those in good health who want a bit more adventure without venturing into high-altitude extremes.

  • Walking Duration: 5–7 hours per day
  • Terrain: Some steep ascents and descents, but well-maintained trails
  • Maximum Altitude: Up to 4,500–5,000 meters
  • Requirements: Good physical condition; no prior experience necessary
  • Tip: A sturdy pair of hiking boots is recommended

 Moderate

Suitable for fit individuals who enjoy active hiking and are prepared for more elevation and trail variety.

  • Terrain: Hilly and mountainous trails with altitude variation

Strenuous

Designed for experienced trekkers ready to tackle rugged terrain, high passes, and thin air.

  • Walking Duration: 7–8 hours per day
  • Terrain: Remote areas, steep trails, glaciers, and mountain passes
  • Maximum Altitude: Above 5,500 meters
  • Requirements: Excellent physical condition; prior multi-day trekking experience required
  • Extras: May involve basic camping at high altitudes

Challenging

Our highest grade—reserved for expert trekkers and mountaineers with extensive high-altitude experience.

  • Walking Duration: 7–9 hours per day
  • Terrain: Technical routes, extreme altitudes, snow and ice crossings
  • Maximum Altitude: Above 6,000 meters
  • Requirements: Peak physical fitness, high-altitude trekking experience, and familiarity with climbing gear
  • Conditions: Harsh weather, freezing temperatures, and limited amenities
