The Langtang region lies south of the Tibet border and north of the capital, Kathmandu. The major attraction of this region is spectacular views of snow-capped mountains such as Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gang Chhenpo (6388 m), and Naya Kanga Ri (5846 m), which lie to the south, and Dorje Lakpa (6966 m), which lies to the east of the Langtang Valley. The Langtang Trek awaits. The homestay tour will give you the real taste of Nepal. Living in the house made up of stones and tiles and watching day-to-day activities of local people either cutting grass on the fields or taking cattle for grazing nearby hills, people living a simple life even with eyes full of happiness and pride, is the way to get to know the true essence of people residing behind the modern development of Nepal. The life you see here is completely away from modernization. People have no further hope of earning a better modern life as they choose to live a life of peace and self-esteem in the village without much struggle and shortages.
Itinerary
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. Private transfer to your boutique hotel. Enjoy a guided city tour of Kathmandu’s cultural sites. Overnight in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, take a scenic public bus ride to Syabrubesi (6-7 hours). Prepare for the trek and overnight at a guesthouse or homestay.
Start trekking along the Langtang River, passing through rhododendron forests and small villages. Overnight stay in a traditional stone house homestay at Lama Hotel.
Continue trekking through terraced fields and local villages. Experience the simple rural life of the Langtang people. Overnight homestay in Langtang Village.
Trek uphill to Kyanjin Gompa. Visit the ancient monastery and take in panoramic views of Langtang Lirung and Dorje Lakpa. Overnight homestay.
Optional hikes to nearby viewpoints or glaciers. Visit local cheese factories or explore the monastery. Relax and enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
Descend back to Langtang Village. Interact more with locals and observe traditional lifestyle. Overnight homestay.
Trek back through forests and riverside trails to Lama Hotel. Overnight homestay.
Final trek day back to Syabrubesi. Overnight at a guesthouse or homestay.
Return by bus to Kathmandu. Enjoy a farewell dinner with traditional Nepali cuisine and cultural performances. Overnight at hotel.
Free day for sightseeing, shopping, or relaxing in the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Private transfer to the airport for your flight home.

What do I need to bring?
Porter-supported trek
Two clients share one porter. We will supply you a trek duffel bag where you keep your heavy items and this bag is carried by the porter. You will need to bring your own daypack to be carried by you. In the daypack, you can put money, important documents, water bottle/bladder, camera, toiletries, sunscreen, notebook, etc.
Baggage Weight Limitation
The weight limit for the porter is 30 kg or 66 pounds. 15 kg or 33 pounds for each client. So, we recommend you to pack as carefully as you can and not exceed the weight limit. You can leave your non-trekking stuff at the locker facility in the Kathmandu hotel.
