The Everest Region is undoubtedly one of the most popular and spectacular destinations for walkers, and it offers some of the most fascinating and enjoyable trekking. This trip begins with a sweeping scenic flight to Lukla, the trek starts from here, our trek follows many farm villages on route with beautiful views of the high snow capped peaks of the world, and to Thyangboche Monastery for the outstanding breathe taking view of the surrounding majestic peaks including Mt.Everest and the towering Ama Dablam.

Everest Trek is an excellent trip in the Khumbu region. It includes all the highlights of the Everest National Park, including Namche Bazaar, Khumbu’s Sherpa capital, with time and opportunity to visit the Buddhist monasteries, one of the oldest in the area at Thyangboche.

Itinerary

Our representative will meet you on your arrival at the Airport and transfer you to the Hotel. An information session about the program will be conducted by our Tour Guide. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Early in the morning after breakfast, our tour guide will takes you for the sightseeing around the Kathmandu, the sightseeing site are- Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddhanath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. In the late afternoon, you will have preparation for the trek, and you can buy the necessary equipment.

  1. Kathmandu Durbar Square (World Heritage Site)
This complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. There are also three museums inside the palace building.
  2. Swoyambhunath Stupa – The Monkey Temple (World Heritage Site)
You can watch over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. Swoyambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey Temple because of the countless monkeys living on the premises.
  3. Pashupatinath Temple (World Heritage Site)
Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world and lies 5 km east of the city center. The richly ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva.
  4. Boudhanath (World Heritage Site)
It is 2500 years 2500-year-old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa, spinning the prayer wheels.

An early morning start takes us to the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla (2804 m). On arrival at the airport, the guide will brief you and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding (2610m).

After landing, we have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sorts and loads our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending towards the Dudh Kosi River, where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaurikharka (2713 m). The walking is easy. After passing through the small village of Ghat (2550 m), it is a short walk to Phakding. Overnight at the guesthouse.

We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing the majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering the Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar (considered the Gateway to Everest) is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange services, internet cafes, and bakeries. Namche is the biggest town along the Everest trail. Overnight at the guesthouse.

We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning air. We will trek a short distance to a museum that is celebrated for its exhibits of the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. We will also hike up to Syangboche Airport and the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest-placed hotels in the world. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest. Overnight at the guesthouse.

The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains. We’ll have trekked to an altitude of 3860 m upon reaching Tengboche. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or in the morning depending on how the trekking goes this day. Overnight at guesthouse.

Following the same trail, leaving the mountains behind us, our descent takes us from Tengboche (3860m) to the town of Namche Bazaar. Overnight at guesthouse.

This is our last day of trekking as we return to Lukla where the trek began. We enjoy this time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. The afternoon is free, so you can wander about, relax and enjoy a hot shower! In the evening, have a few celebratory drinks and dance with your trekmates. Overnight at guesthouse.

On your flight back to Kathmandu as you leave Lukla, you can enjoy some last-minute glimpses of the mountains. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our airport representative will transfer you to your hotel from the airport. Overnight at hotel.

Today we will have a free day in Kathmandu for personal activities, and you can buy souvenirs for your friends, family, and relatives. In the evening, you will have a Farewell dinner with our tour guide. In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances. Notes

Porter-supported trek

Two clients share one porter. We will supply you with a trek duffel bag where you keep your heavy items, and this bag is carried by the porter. You will need to bring your daypack to be carried by you. In the daypack, you can put money, important documents, water bottle/bladder, camera, toiletries, sunscreen, notebook, etc.

The weight limit for Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu flights is 15 kg or 33 pounds. This is combining both the duffel bag and the daypack. If you exceed this limit, you will have to pay an additional fee. When this happens, sometimes the airline sends your bag on later flights, and this can be very problematic for many reasons. You can leave your non-trekking stuff at the locker facility in the Kathmandu hotel.

Cultural Awareness

Tight-fitting, figure-hugging clothing, such as that made with Lycra, can often be offensive to locals, especially to women. If you find these items comfortable as a base layer, please pack something to wear on top of them.

I went to Everest Base Camp trek in the year 2012 with Shri Deepak Khanal of Osho World Adventure. It was a very good experience to be with Shri Deepakji for this trek. From Kathmandu-Kathmandu, there was nothing to worry if you go with Osho World. You will feel your home in the heart of Himalyan Mountains. The arrangement and planning for the trek was very nice. I recommend Osho World adventure for anybody who want to wander in the Nepal Himalaya. I thank once again to Shri Deepak Khanal for his endeavor in taking and guiding many of us to this beautiful world of Nepal Himalaya. Wish him further success...

Perfect place for Tailors Tour Packages for Nepal and Tibet We five friends from USA and India visited Osho World Adventure, Kathmandu last month to get support to organize Kathmandu heritage tour packages followed by Meditation and Transformation Camp in Nepal. Mr. Deepak - the owner of the company himself helped us to tailor our tour packages and helped us to organize mediation camp at Tapoban. They helped us to develop our packages such a way that our tour became the most memorial and blessed one. The team is more meditative, spiritual and very kind and friendly. They treat you humanely. You can trust them confidently. Overall, the perfect tour operator in Nepal, where you get services with more personalized.

Very nice people and good service We went shopping for a good travel agency in Thamel and we immediately felt at ease at Osho World Adventures. All the staff is really friendly and genuine. Deepak (the owner) even invited us to celebrate a festival with his family. At Osho's, we booked a chitwan tour and we did a trekking. The trekking (nagarkot, chisopani, dhulikhel and namo buddha) was very nice! We stayed at nice hotels and all the meals were included (you can choose from the menu). The guide (Raj) was very friendly and explained a lot about the daily life in Nepal and about the festivals. He also knew a lot about wildlife and took good care of his customers. We always felt very safe. The Chitwan tour was also very nice. Osho provided busseats and arranged the hotel with sightseeings. Hotel Jungle sunset Camp is situated next to the river and next to the olifant bathing. We even saw rhinos from our hotel! We would fully recommend Osho to others who would like to have a good service for a reasonable price and very friendly staff.

Fazit: 100% Empfehlung.

A good choice for your trip in Nepal The travel agency's master is very talkative. He will plan your travel immediately and give you advice properly. Not only forehead but also proceed and after about your trip provide you good service.老闆是個非常健談的人。他會依照你所希望的旅遊行程作立即性的規劃,也會給予適當的行程建議。不管是行程前、旅途中或售後服務都很不錯。但希望機場接送的時間安排上可更充足些。
