Overview

This short Everest Base Camp trip is designed for those travellers with very limited time, yet who have an enduring desire to wave at the almighty Everest. On this short Everest Base Camp Trek, you will be able to experience astounding mountain views.

The Everest Short Trek starts with an exhilarating Himalayan flight towards Lukla from Kathmandu. Then we continue our trek towards the Khumbu Region. The trek offers you the opportunity to explore the culture and lifestyle of legendary and brave mountain climbers, the Sherpa, in the Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the popular trading centre of the Everest region and also the only gateway to Everest.

We will settle the majority of our trek in the Khumbu Region. It offers you excellent views of the Khumbu ranges and ice-floating Khumbu glacier-fed lakes. Breakfast in the Everest View Hotel treats you to the nose-tip view of the great Mount Everest.

Itinerary

1 Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you’ll attend a short briefing session about the trek with our experienced tour guide. Overnight at a boutique hotel in Kathmandu.

2 Day 2 : Fly to Lukla (2,860m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

Early in the morning, we drive to the airport for a scenic 35-minute flight to Lukla. Upon landing, you’ll be introduced to your trekking guide and porters. Your trek begins by following the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful Sherpa villages and pine forests, ending the day at Phakding.

3 Day 3 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Cross suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. Enjoy your first views of Everest and surrounding peaks as you hike up to Namche, the Sherpa capital. Overnight at a lodge in Namche.

4 Day 4 : Hike to Syangboche and Everest View Hotel (3,780m)

Climb to Syangboche airstrip and Everest View Hotel for panoramic mountain views. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and explore Khumjung village. Overnight at a lodge in Namche.

5 Day 5 : Return Trek to Lukla

Retrace your steps past Phakding and Monjo, enjoying the final views of the Himalayas before reaching Lukla. Overnight at a lodge in Lukla.

6 Day 6 : Fly to Kathmandu

Morning flight back to Kathmandu. Free time to relax or explore. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with cultural performances. Overnight at a boutique hotel in Kathmandu.

7 Day 7 : Departure

We’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Farewell and safe journey!

It was a very good experience to be with Shri Deepakji for this trek. From Kathmandu-Kathmandu, there was nothing to worry if you go with Osho World. You will feel your home in the heart of Himalyan Mountains. The arrangement and planning for the trek was very nice.

I recommend Osho World adventure for anybody who want to wander in the Nepal Himalaya.

 Verified Helambu Trek with a awesome Guide
We booked the Helambu Trek for 6 days. The processing of the booking was straightforward and the people were very nice. The trek is very nice and varied, the accommodations and the food were very good. We got stuck in Kutumsang due to snow and illness. Our guide Ram did everything possible to bring us back safely. Ram was always looked after and did everything in his power. Our guide Ram became our friend. Thank you for everything. Очень внимательный хозяин Диппак. Встретил в аэропорту с венками, проводил с шарфиками:) Все вопросы решались быстро и без "напрягов" с улыбкой и доброжелательностью. Удивлены были такой заботой, учитывая, что мы не были "крупными" клиентами. В любом случае, местный говорящий на русском - это редкость. We went shopping for a good travel agency in Thamel and we immediately felt at ease at Osho World Adventures. All the staff is really friendly and genuine. Deepak (the owner) even invited us to celebrate a festival with his family. At Osho's, we booked a chitwan tour and we did a trekking. The trekking (nagarkot, chisopani, dhulikhel and namo buddha) was very nice! We stayed at nice hotels and all the meals were included (you can choose from the menu). The guide (Raj) was very friendly and explained a lot about the daily life in Nepal and about the festivals. He also knew a lot about wildlife and took good care of his customers. We always felt very safe. The Chitwan tour was also very nice. Osho provided busseats and arranged the hotel with sightseeings. Hotel Jungle sunset Camp is situated next to the river and next to the olifant bathing. We even saw rhinos from our hotel! We would fully recommend Osho to others who would like to have a good service for a reasonable price and very friendly staff.

Ich und meine Freundin haben uns unsere Nepalreise (Manaslu Trek + Chitwan Np) durch Osho organisieren gelassen. Die Pläne wurden mit zeitlichem Vorsprung abgesprochen, damit wir nicht viel Zeit in Kathmandu verlieren mussten. Letzendlich hat alles wunderbar geklappt und die gesamte Reise erfolgte dann problemlos. Herr Deepak ist sehr flexible und man kann seinen Uralub wirklich individuell gestalten.
