Whether you’re a Buddhist practitioner, a curious traveller, or someone simply seeking inner calm, this journey brings you to the heart of Nepal’s spiritual heritage.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to meditate with monks, light butter lamps, spin prayer wheels, and soak in the silence of monastic gardens. This carefully paced itinerary allows both meaningful reflection and insightful cultural exploration.

Itinerary

After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel near Boudhanath Stupa—the spiritual heart of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Take a peaceful walk around the stupa as prayer flags flutter above and incense fills the air.
Overnight in Boudhanath | Meals: Dinner

After breakfast, you’ll visit Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), one of the oldest stupas in Nepal, known for its hilltop views and mystical energy. Then, drive to Patan to explore hidden monasteries, traditional thangka painting workshops, and ancient Buddhist courtyards.
Overnight in Kathmandu | Meals: Breakfast

Drive to the sacred village of Pharping, home to several meditation retreats and the legendary cave of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava). Explore peaceful monasteries like Yangleshö and Asura Cave Monastery, and learn about Vajrayana practices from the resident monks.
Overnight in Pharping | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

You’ll fly (or drive, based on your preference) to Lumbini, the world’s most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. Upon arrival, visit the Maya Devi Temple, where Queen Maya gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama. See the Ashoka Pillar, ancient ruins, and sacred ponds where the Buddha took his first bath.
Overnight in Lumbini | Meals: Breakfast

Spend the full day exploring the Lumbini Monastic Zone, home to over 30 international monasteries built by countries around the world. Each monastery reflects a unique architectural style and Buddhist tradition. From the Tibetan Mahayana monastery to the Sri Lankan Theravada temple, it’s a walk through living Buddhism.
Overnight in Lumbini | Meals: Breakfast

Fly or drive back to Kathmandu. Visit the peaceful Kopan Monastery, a centre of Buddhist learning and meditation. If time permits, we’ll also take a trip to Namobuddha, where Buddha is said to have offered his body to a starving tigress in a past life.
Overnight in Kathmandu | Meals: Breakfast, Farewell Dinner

After breakfast, we’ll escort you to the airport for your departure. You’ll leave with more than souvenirs—perhaps a quieter mind, a fuller heart, and a renewed sense of peace.
