We are fully committed to organizing a safe and sound, hassle-free expedition with a professional team of staff with the very best logistic and technical support with everything you would expect and more!

The Icefall is to be opened by a separate unit called the ‘Advance Team’ before the final party arrives in the base camp after several days of acclimatization, climbing Island Peak and Lobuje, and finally resting for a few days at Pheriche. Ice-fall opening should take about 7 to 10 days maximum under normal conditions.

Itinerary

On arrival our staff will receive and transfer you to respective Hotels.

These 2 days will be used obtaining necessary paper works and documents with the Sherpa staff, making of the climbing permits, Visa and a visit to the Ministry of Tourism for Official briefings.

Swoyambhunath ( Monkey Temple)
Situated on a hill, Swoyambhunath is both a Buddhist and a Hindu Temple. The origin of Kathmandu valley is closely linked to this temple. Also known as Monkey Temple, the sprawling tree-filled grounds of the temple is home to many monkeys.

Pashupatinath Temple
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu shrines in the world. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple lies 5 kms east of the city center. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva.

Boudhanath Stupa
Boudhanath Stupa is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. The white domed stupa stands on a giant mandala. Built during the 5th century, Boudhanath is an important centre of Tibetan Buddhism.  Legend has it that the bones of Kasyapa Buddha(one of Buddha’s incarnations) lies at the base of this stupa.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur Durbar Square lies in Bhaktapur, one of the three medieval cities in Kathmandu Valley. The royal square, which was built by the Malla royals, houses some of the best examples of ancient Newari art and architecture.  The five-tiered pagoda temple  NyatapolaPalace of 55 Windows, Vatsala Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Duttaraya Temple, Pujari Math, Golden Gate etc are all cultural treasures of this beautifully preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Transfer to the domestic airport for one of the great flights of the Himalaya.
If the sky is clear during the flight, one can get the first views of the Mt.Everest.
The Twin-Otter / Dronier or similar aircraft will take to the hillside village of Lukla,
the starting point of the trek. Here meet the staff and the porters and set off straight away for Phakding, situated on the banks of the Dudh Kosi River, which drains the whole of the Khumbu.

Walk continues up the banks of the Dudh Kosi River, crossing it twice by small suspension bridges, before reaching the village of Monjo, which is the entrance to the Khumbu National Park. Then cross the confluence of the Dudh Kosi and Bhote Kosi rivers on a high suspension bridge and climb steeply for about two hours to Namche Bazaar. This is a prosperous trading town and is the capital of the Khumbu region. Many Tibetans cross the nearby border to trade their wares and the local market is a fascinating spectacle. This is a good place to buy genuine Tibetan artifacts. Just across the valley to the east stand the peaks of Thamserku and Kangtega, both very impressive mountains

Rest and at leisure allowing the bodies to become more acclimatized to the altitude of 11,300ft /3,440m.

The well worn Everest trail contours around the side of the valley high above the Dudh Kosi, with good views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including – Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam and then passing several villages and numerous tea shops, descending steeply to a bridge over the Dudh Kosi. The village on the far side is an excellent lunch spot and here one can rest a little before making the steep climb to Thyangboche. Although tiring, the 2 hours haul up the zig-zag path has numerous distractions, with rhododendron bushes, beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Thyangboche is famous for its monastery, the largest in the Khumbu. It was completely destroyed by fire (an elderly monk tried to put out his new electric fire by pushing it face down onto the floor!) but it has now been rebuilt and is as grand as ever.

Descending steeply through woods, cross the Imja Khola and climb steadily to the village of Pangboche. This is directly opposite Ama Dablam, and is a good place to stop for lunch. Pheriche is a good two hours walk beyond and is situated beneath the impressive spires of Cholatse and Taweche.

Using Pheriche as the base, spend a day hiking for the sake of health fitness and adaptation to the altitude.

Continue up the wide valley beneath the impressive peaks of Cholatse and Taweche on the left, then turn right and climb more steeply towards the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. The tea house at Dughla (Thugla) is a good lunch spot, before the steep climb zig-zagging up through the boulders of the glacier terminal moraine. The top of this climb is heralded by numerous stone cairns- memorable to the many Sherpa who have died while climbing on Mount Everest. The path then continues more easily on the left side of the glacier, to eventually reach the cluster of tea houses at Lobuche.

Continue along the side of the Khumbu Glacier which is straight forward at first, but later the path becomes rocky and awkward climb across the moraine. This is more than compensated by the fabulous mountain setting as the path get closer to the world’s highest mountain. The sugar loaf dome of Pumori lies directly ahead and to our right, on the opposite side of the glacier, Nuptse rises in a sheer spire. Just behind it, remaining elusive to the last moment is the Mt. Everest. Gorak Shep is another small cluster of tea shops and will be camping just below them. Directly above the camp site is Kala Pattar [18,188ft/5,545m.]. This is a famous view-point for Mount Everest and the 1½ hour scramble to reach; it is well worth the effort.

Climbing over the mounds of moraine traverse the Khumbu Glacier and follow a vague path to the most famous of all Base Camps. It lies right at the foot of the notorious Khumbu Ice Fall which tumbles from the Western Cwm. The Base Camp will be already well established and you can find out how the Advance Party is progressing in the Ice-fall.

It is hoped that the Khumbu Ice-fall will be fixed by the time the team arrives at the Base Camp. Members can then start load-carrying to Camp I and Camp II, in the Western Cwm. Once everyone is well acclimatized, Camp I will be mostly by-passed en-route for Camp II, which will become an Advance Base Camp. The route to this point will involve crossing the crevasses on ladders, jumaring up serac walls and a long tedious plod-up the Western Cwm. Camp III will be placed half way up the Lhotse Face at about 7,400 meters high. From here a long rising traverse across the snow slopes, a yellow band of rock and the Geneva Spur, leads to the South Col and Camp IV. This will be fully established before a rest period at Base Camp.

To assist with packing-up the expedition and clearing the Base Camp areas.

The final end of the great expeditions to the world’s number mountain, preparation for the Journey back to Kathmandu and with garbage clean up.

Retrace the journey back to Pheriche by the same route.

Retrace the trekking journey by the same route passing through Pangboche.

Retrace the trekking journey by the same route to Namche with optional route by Khumjung and Khunde from the village of Shanasa.

Today’s walk leads to almost downhill with short ups on route to Lukla.

Most of the flight takes off in the morning time, a great scenic sweeping flight of 30 minutes reaches you at Kathmandu, and transfer to respective Hotel.

Time for some last minute shopping or sightseeing, or one can just relax in the Hotel.
In the evening with a get together farewell party at the Hotel itself, including the Sherpas and other friends.

Recovering from the past exhausting days and nights- re-generating!

I went to Everest Base Camp trek in the year 2012 with Shri Deepak Khanal of Osho World Adventure. It was a very good experience to be with Shri Deepakji for this trek. From Kathmandu-Kathmandu, there was nothing to worry if you go with Osho World. You will feel your home in the heart of Himalyan Mountains. The arrangement and planning for the trek was very nice. I recommend Osho World adventure for anybody who want to wander in the Nepal Himalaya. Perfect place for Tailors Tour Packages for Nepal and Tibet We five friends from USA and India visited Osho World Adventure, Kathmandu last month to get support to organize Kathmandu heritage tour packages followed by Meditation and Transformation Camp in Nepal. Mr. Deepak - the owner of the company himself helped us to tailor our tour packages and helped us to organize mediation camp at Tapoban. They helped us to develop our packages such a way that our tour became the most memorial and blessed one. The team is more meditative, spiritual and very kind and friendly. They treat you humanely. You can trust them confidently. Overall, the perfect tour operator in Nepal, where you get services with more personalized.

Very nice people and good service We went shopping for a good travel agency in Thamel and we immediately felt at ease at Osho World Adventures. All the staff is really friendly and genuine. Deepak (the owner) even invited us to celebrate a festival with his family. At Osho's, we booked a chitwan tour and we did a trekking. The trekking (nagarkot, chisopani, dhulikhel and namo buddha) was very nice! We stayed at nice hotels and all the meals were included (you can choose from the menu). The guide (Raj) was very friendly and explained a lot about the daily life in Nepal and about the festivals. He also knew a lot about wildlife and took good care of his customers. We always felt very safe. The Chitwan tour was also very nice. Osho provided busseats and arranged the hotel with sightseeings. Hotel Jungle sunset Camp is situated next to the river and next to the olifant bathing. We even saw rhinos from our hotel! We would fully recommend Osho to others who would like to have a good service for a reasonable price and very friendly staff.

Fazit: 100% Empfehlung.

A good choice for your trip in Nepal The travel agency's master is very talkative. He will plan your travel immediately and give you advice properly. Not only forehead but also proceed and after about your trip provide you good service.老闆是個非常健談的人。他會依照你所希望的旅遊行程作立即性的規劃,也會給予適當的行程建議。不管是行程前、旅途中或售後服務都很不錯。但希望機場接送的時間安排上可更充足些。
