Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.

Upon you arrival at Kathmandu Airport (TIA) you will be welcomed by our Airport representative from Osho World Adventure. After completing your custom formalities in immigration, pick up your luggage and look for the airport representative who will show your name on the paper at arrival gate. Then you will be transfer to hotel. You can be fresh up and visit our office, can have half day sightsee and hang out as per your interest. In the evening our tour operator/ tour guide will explain about the program for trip. You can have a Nepalese meal and enjoy yourself.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and Preparation for Trekking.

After having breakfast in the hotel, we will go for full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. You will be guided by our professional tour guide. The Kathmandu valley sightseeing include- Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath temple, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar square. Then back to hotel and rest for few minutes and in the evening you can hang-out around Thamel and prepare yourself for tomorrow trekking. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Bhalche(1,850m)/6-7 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast, we start our drive to the Bhalche. The road passes through the wonderful scenic views of surrounding from Trisuli Bazaar and Betrawati. From here the trail is narrow and zig –zags then after a 7 hours drive we finally reach at the Bhalche. Stay overnight at Bhalche.

Day 04: Trek from Bhalche to Rupchet via Gonaga (3,250m)/6 hrs

From Bhalche village continue walk by passing through high tropical jungle and gripping the jungle views and the surrounding landscape. Then we reach at the Thulo Kharka and we stop her for lunch and few minutes rest. Again continuous trek through the yak hut and beautiful bamboos, pine and fir trees we finally reach at Rupchet. Rupchet is nature gift for its amazing hillside views and its outside edge views. Stay overnight at Rupchet.

Day 05: Trek from Rupchet via Singla Pass (4,220 m) to Pangsang Pass (3,842 m)/6-7 hrs

Today early in the morning after breakfast, we start walking all the way to uphill to the Singla Pass at the altitude of (4,220m). The pass offers the panoramic views of Langtang ranges, massift Ganesh himal ranges, Mt. Manaslu ranges and little bit of Annapurna ranges. Then from here we slowly trek to Mojyat Kharka and passes through the main jungle enjoying with nature we finally reach at the Pangsang Pass. Today we have really adventure and full of fun trek by passing through flora and fauna experience, green, quite and views of mountain makes the day really memorable. Stay overnight at Pangsang Pass.

Day 06: Trek from Pang Sang Pass to Tipling to Chalish (1,674m)/5-6 hrs

Today our trekking trail descends to Tipling, is the large village which has hosts two types of Buddhist Gompa and both a Protestant and Catholic church. Tipling village has the settlement of Tamang people. We stop at Tipling for lunch and rest, again continue trek down to the Adha Khola and crossing the box bridge climbing up to the sister village of Shertung and Chalish. Then after a trek for few hours we finally reach at the Chalish. Chalish is inhabited by the Gurung, Ghale and Dalit. People of this village are friendly with their unique customs and craftsmanship. In the evening the mother group of the Chalish village will welcome the visitor by performing the cultural program and typical Gurung dance. Stay overnight at Chalish.

Day 07: Trek from Chalish to Hindung (Gomba Danda)(2,402m)/4 -5 hrs

We trek towards to Hindung which takes about five hours. We have to go downhill up to Khar Khola (stream) and crossing this stream we trek steep up and then slowly reach at Pasabar Danda, from here we can have beautiful views of Tribeni river (mixed of three rivers and Hindus and Buddhist believe as a holy river site). Having few minutes rest and lunch we continue our trek uphill to the Kalbarang and from the path leads through the dense forest, we must be careful walking inside the forest because it is the home land of the wild animals. Then continue walks we finally reach at the Hindung. Mainly this village has got Tamang settlement. Another attraction of this village there is crystal and rubies harvested in the north side and yarsagumba is also hunted in this highland surrounding. Stay overnight at Hindung.

Day 08: Trek from Gomba Danda to Thulo Dhunga (3,337m)/4-5 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast, our trekking trail gradually moves steeply with irregular views of the snow capped mountain and passing the grazing land with green meadows with attractive views of Ganesh Himal and scenic environment. Finally after 5 hours of pleasant walk we reach at Thulo Dhunga. Stay overnight at Thulo Dhunga.

Day 09: Trek from Thulo Dhunga to Base Camp (Nojet Kharka) (3,691m)/6 hrs

The trail from Thulo Dhunga gradually moves steeply uphill with the wonderful views of snowcapped mountain, pleasant walk from the grazing area towards downhill we finally reach at camp site Known as Base Camp (Nojet Kharka). Stay overnight at here.

Day 10: Trek from Exploratn Day/viewpoint.

Today we have free day to explore around the areas. After breakfast we hike uphill to the northeast know as Dobra Danda which is consider as one of the best views point of Ganesh Himal. As well as we can see two beautiful lakes sparkle under the bottom of Himalayan. The names of these two lakes are Kalo and Seto Kunda. People of this region believed these lakes have got mystical powers that bless the visitor as well as punish the visitor who misbehave in the lake. Stay overnight at here.

Day 11: Trek from Nojet Kharka to Kharka (3900m)/5 hrs

Today we will have best early views and after breakfast we start trekking downhill and cross river slowly following the trail for 3 hours we reach at the Kharka. Kharka is the isolated camp site from where we can have beautiful views of Ganesh Himal. Our camp is set up near the jungle where it is possible to meet the wildlife which makes the trekking more adventure. Stay overnight at Kharka.

Day 12: Trek from Kharka to Ganesh Kunda to Ruby area (3,500m)/5-6 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast we trek to Ganesh Himal Base Camp and from here we continue follow the trail and reach at the holy sites known as Ganesh Kunda, beside this Kunda another attraction of this region is Ruby mines area and precious herbs are available. Stay overnight Ganesh Kunda.

Day 13: Trek from Ganesh Kunda to Tatopani (Hot Spring). (1,250m)/5-6 hrs

Today we have to walk down to Neber after walking for few hours we take rest and looking around the beautiful surrounding. After having lunch we continue our trek by following the river bank and walking through the jungle we finally reach at Tatopani. Here we can relax and take natural hot spring bath. Stay overnight at Tatopani.

Day 14: Trek from Tatopani (Hot Spring) to Lapa Gaon(1,850m)/5-6 hrs

Today trails moves head to the stone paved way which was built by Kadoorie Agri Aid Association and British Gurkhas of Nepal. Continue walk by passing through the Tir we stop for our lunch at Kapur gaon and rest and then trek down to Ankhu Khola crossing the suspension bridge and finally you arrive in Lapa gaon. Lapa Goan is one of the biggest village of Tamang communities. Here we can learn and experience the Tamang culture and their occasionally cultural program. Stay overnight at Lapa Goan.

Day 15: Trek from Lapa Gaon to Magne Goth Pass(2,950 m)/4 hrs

The trail moves steeply up the hill to the west in a high then passing through the blue pine forest with confused rhododendron is Magne Goth, and nearby is a large rock, location of ruby taking out. Stay overnight at Magne Goth Pass.

Day 16: Trek from Magne Goth to Tinsure (1,850m)/5-6 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast, we start our trek to Tinsure. On the way to Tinsure we will passes through the beautiful alpine jungle, rhododendron forest and thick mix jungle. The trekking trail does not have any human settlement. After a 5-6 hours walk we finally reach at the Tinsure. Stay overnight at Tinsure.

Day 17: Tinsure to Ganga Jamuna to Salangkot (1,250m)/5-6 hrs

Today we will trek towards twin beautiful waterfall known as Ganga and Jamuna which include happiness to your spirit. Ganga Jamuna is well wishes god where thousands of Hindus and Buddhist pilgrimages visit in special occasion however Janai purnama and Makar sankranti festival will have countless devotees. People believe that Ganga Jamuna name from the twin sister full-fill your desire if you go and ask in the temple. After exploring the Ganga Jamuna we continue trek to Salankot. Stay overnight at Salangkot.

Day 18: Drive from Salangkot to Katmandu (1,310 m)/6-7hrs

Today after breakfast, we will have drive through the rough road to Dhading Besi and continue drive back to Kathmandu with scenic views. Finally after 7 hours drive we reach at Kathmandu. In the evening you can hang around the Thamel.

Day 19: Free day at Kathmandu

Today if you want to do sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, then you can visit the PashupatiNath Temple, Durbar Square, Monkey Temple and Buddhanath Stupas. Then in afternoon you can buy gift to your friends, family and relatives. In the evening you will have Farewell dinner with tour operator.

Day 20: Departure

Today is last day for you in Nepal. Hope that you have enjoyed treks with us. You will be transfer to Airport for Departure. Hope to see you again in Nepal

What are the best seasons for trekking?

The best seasons to trek in Himalayas of Nepal between Autumn and Spring. You can also enjoy Nepali main festival like Dashain and Tihar.  You can also have trekking in other season but you could expect difficult weather situation.

Do I need an experience for Trekking in Nepal?

Normally trekking in Nepal is suitable for those who can walk 5-6 hours in day with light weight rucksack. And for adventurous trekking, you must have experience of moderate trekking. And physical fitness is must necessary for trekking.

Do you have airport pick facilities?

Yes! We have free airport pick up and drop facilities with every booked package with us. You just need to inform us time and date of arrival during the booking.

What type accommodation can I expect in Trekking in Nepal?

There are three types of accommodation in Nepal depending upon the destination. Lodge or tea house accommodations with basic standard are available in popular trekking trail. And many trail lack lodges and tea house will have homestay or camping style accommodations with expert cooks.

What kind of food can I expect during the trekking?

Basic standard but delicious food will be available during the trek. Mostly vegetarian style foods can be expected where lodges or tea houses are available. In camping style trekking, our expert and professional cook will help you.

Who will be our guides during the trek?

You guide will be English talking local Nepali. We can also provide specific language talking guide for you such as Russian, Spanish, Chinese, French or Italian. All guides are well trained and government authorized which includes Sherpas, Gurung, Magar, Rai and Brahmin.

What equipment do you provide? What should I bring myself?

We provide sleeping bags, down jackets for the Lodge to Lodge trek (Teahouse) and tents, mattresses, kitchen equipment (all of the highest quality) during the Camping Treks. However, trekking shoes, personal equipment and climbing equipment is up to you. See our equipment list or email us for a specific list.

How much extra money do I need per day?

You need to allocate 10$-15$ per day for Lunch or Dinner during stay at Kathmandu or Pokhara. During trekking depending upon a destination, you need 20$-40$ per day for Lunch and Dinner. It also depends on your spending habits.

Are your staffs fully equipped? What about their insurance?

Yes! Our staffs such as guides, cooks, Sherpas and porters are fully equipped. We are connected with each other and believe in team work.  We protect and advocates for the rights of all our staffs and they are fully insured.

Can I add extra days to my trip?

Sure!!! You can add another extra days during the trekking. We can arrange to extend the trekking days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, porters, and accommodation along trekking.

What does grading (Easy, Moderate, Adventurous, Challenging) means?

“Grading” is a term used for rating treks based on difficulty. We have four grade of trekking in Nepal i.e. Easy, Moderate, Adventurous and Challenging- the challenge in terms of both technicality and geography increases as we move higher in that order.

Easy Treks

No previous trek experience and any physical preparation are required to attempt this trek. An interest in walking will be enough to take up such treks. Such treks usually vary from 2 days hike to 5 days trekking and can reach up to an altitude of 3000 m.

Moderate Treks

Moderate Treks need at least 6-7 hours of daily walking every day which crosses 4000 m above high altitude passes, and long and exhausting walks through often rough trails, rocks and boulders.

Adventurous Treks

Adventurous treks required previous trekking experience and technical knowledge. Besides this 6-7 hours walking through rough trails and crossing high passes as high as 5000 m.

Challenging Treks

These are long days trekking with long hours challenging walks passing through high altitude above 5000 m, difficult terrains and glacier and snow walking. No doubt you need to be mentally and physically fit and in excellent health condition.

What is altitude sickness?

Altitude sickness is also known as Acute Mountain Sickness which generally occurs when people ascend too quickly in altitudes of over 3000 m. Altitude sickness is the major problem when you are trekking in Nepal. And it is really necessary for you to study the causes, symptoms and treatment of the attitude sickness before trekking and climbing in Nepal. Average of three peoples per year dies due to the Altitude sickness.

While trekking and climbing in Nepal it is necessary adjust your schedule for trekking in above 3.000 meters. It is better if you climb no more than 400 meters per day when you are climbing above 3000 meters. If you fail to allow time for adaptation, you may develop the symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). You can easily care it with a day’s rest or if ignored can lead to death. So before trekking in Nepal especially in higher altitude, basic awareness of AMS is necessary for safe trek.

What happens if there’s an emergency?

Generally, you are not likely to face any emergency but if the situation goes serious, then you can send word to the nearby village with radio service for a helicopter evacuation. It can cost you up to $1500-$2500 (even more depending upon the situation) for a helicopter evacuation and it requires a guarantee of payment before the helicopter takes off. If you register with your embassy, then this process can be done in great speed. However, if the case is not so serious, then you can find some health posts or air field for check-up. So, we recommend you to have necessary travel insurance which can cover all those expenses.

Is there an emergency contact number?

Yes. You can dial on 9751000991 anytime from anywhere. If you are using international number you need to put our country code 00977 or if you are dialing from local number in Kathmandu, doesn’t need to put any code.

Do I need to tip my guide and porters? How much would that be?

This is very difficult thing to determine. We have seen everything from 10USD to 500 USD per person for guides and porters. Tipping is not required, but a small way to show your guides and local porters thanks for their help. The level of the tip should reflect the level of personal involvement with your guide.

How can I book my trip in advance?

If you are traveling in high tourist season i.e. between October to November and March to April, you have to book the tour six to ten months before. Because of the limitation of the infrastructure in tourism industry in Nepal , you are asked to book the trip in advance.

What is the mode of payment?
