Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Accommodation: Thamel Grand Hotel or hotel of your choice (B.B)

03.30pm: Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot

08.00am: City tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for day sightseeing tour. We will visit the following sites:

1) Boudhanath Stupa: one of the largest and holiest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2) Swayambhunath Stupa: Also called the Monkey Temple, Swayambhunath is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in Kathmandu Valley and a World Heritage Site.

3) Pashuatinath: It is the holies Hindu shrine and one of the four major pilgrimage sites for Hindus

4) Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is a medieval collection of statues, palaces, courtyards, temples and narrow alleys. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5) Patan Durbar Square: Another world heritage site, Patan Durbar Square is equally mesmerizing and enchanting.

Day 04: Exploration in Chitwan National Park

07:30: We will begin our full day jungle activities in and around the national park. Activities include the following:

Jungle Walk and bird watching: We will take a jungle walk inside the national park guided by a natural guide. We will also accompanied by bird experts who will make the nature exploration more exciting with his/her insights and knowledge. Get your cameras ready.

Elephant safari: For deeper exploration of the jungle and to experience the sightings of such endangered animals as tigers, rhinos and deer, we will take a safari on elephant’s back.

Crocodile Breeding Center: Nepal as one of the oldest and most successful crocodile breeding center in South Asia.

Canoe Ride: Enjoy the canoe ride along the Rapti river as you will get more of rich ecological biodiversity of the park.

Day 06: Drive from Bandipur to Pokhara.

Highlights: Travelling to Pokhara along Prithivi Highway with amazing views of hills, rivers and Himalayas as backdrops. Visit Davis Fall, Bindhabasini Temple, Gupteshwor Cave, Barahi mandir, Phewa Lake, World Peace pagoda and Seti Gandaki among others.

06.00am: Breakfast at hotel. Afterwards enjoy mountain view from hotel.

07.00am: Pick up from hotel and board on a private van for a ride to Pokhara. It may take about 3 hours to reach Pokhara.

10.30 am: Arrive in Pokhara. Check in at Hotel. Welcome Drinks. Rest and relax

12:00-1.00pm: Lunch. Rest for some time.

01:30pm-06:00pm: Guide will pick you up from the Hotel for a sightseeing tour around Pokhara. We will visit the following sites:

1) Davis Fall: Davis’ Fall is one of the most visited waterfall site in Pokhara. The fall was named after a tourist who fell over the fall accidentally and lost his life. The waterfall flow about 500 feet through the natural tunnel at the depth of 100 feet from ground level.

2) Bindhabasini Temple: The temple is central attraction of Phewa Lake as it is located right at the center of the lake. You will have take a wooden boat to reach the temple.

3) Gupteshwor Cave: The Gupteshwor cave is an interesting holy site in Pokhara. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the cave consists of worshipping site within its deep cavity. This venerated cave contains a huge stalagmite worshipped as a Shiva’s Lingam.

4)  World Peace Pagoda: Standing on top of the Ananda hill, Shanti Stupa adds more beauty to Pokhara Valley. We will have cross the Phewa Lake and trek uphill but its worth visiting the pagoda. The view from the top is amazing especially of the Pokhara valley. The hilltop also provides a splendid view of sunrise and sunset. Tripadvisor has ranked Shanti Stupa as top second attraction in Pokhara.

5) International Mountain Museum: Nepal’s mountain museum and perhaps the first in the world, the museum a must visit since it contains lots of information about the history of mountaineering including documentaries and historical artifacts.

06:30: 08:00pm: Dinner at a lakeside Restaurant. Return to hotel after dinner for overnight rest.

Day 07: Drive to Sarangkot and back to Pokhara

Accommodation: B.B. Hotel in Pokhara

Highlights: We will visit Sarangkot early morning for sunrise and Himalayan scenery. Spend the afternoon visiting and boating on Phewa Lake.

06.00am: Early Wake up.

06:30am: Drive to Sarangkot to see the Sunrise and beautiful panorama of Himalayas including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Mt. Fishtail.

What’s the best season for tours in Nepal?

Tours in Nepal are possible throughout the year. However, if you would like to observe and be part of major festivals in Nepal, then target between Autumn and Spring.

How can I book tours in advance?

If you are planning for Nepal tours during peak tourist season, then you should book the trip two months prior to your arrival. It is not necessary to make reservation, however we would like to recommend making advance booking because of high demand for hotel occupancy. It is difficult to put a figure. The cost will vary according to your needs for shopping and where and what meals you want to eat in city areas. It is better to have at least 100 USD or its equivalent Nepali currency.

How large is a tour group?

For each day there will be several groups, but if you want single tours we can arrange that as well. Each group will have maximum of 15 people led by an experienced English speaking guide. Large groups can easily get involved in activities like yoga, meditations and other.
