Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345 meters).

Accommodation: Thamel Grand Hotel or hotel of your choice (B.B)

Highlights: Sightseeing in Thamel

01.00-02:00pm: Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport.

03.30pm: Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel.

04.30pm: Take rest in hotel.

05.45pm: Go for sightseeing around Thamel accompanied by our guide.

6.45pm: Return to hotel for overnight rest.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

Accommodation: B.B. in Kathmandu Hotel

08.00am: City tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for day sightseeing tour. We will visit the following sites:

1) Boudhanath Stupa: one of the largest and holiest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2) Swayambhunath Stupa: Also called the Monkey Temple, Swayambhunath is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in Kathmandu Valley and a World Heritage Site.

3) Pashuatinath: It is the holies Hindu shrine and one of the four major pilgrimage sites for Hindus

4) Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is a medieval collection of statues, palaces, courtyards, temples and narrow alleys. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5) Patan Durbar Square: Another world heritage site, Patan Durbar Square is equally mesmerizing and enchanting.

02.00pm: Lunch

03.00-04.00pm: Relaxation in hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini – 9 Hours.

Maya Devi Temple: It is the most sacred site in all of Lumbini. The temple consists of nativity stone, which is considered to exact mark where Prince Buddha was born. Recent explorations have discovered further artifacts belonging to Buddha’s time.

Sacred Garden: The sacred garden is where Buddha’ mother Maya Devi spent her time around the time of giving birth to Buddha.

International Monasteries: We will visit the monasteries of various countries including Thailand, Burma, German, Chinese, French Nepalese, Korean, Indian among others.

11.45am: Return to hotel

12.30-1.30pm: Lunch at the hotel. Rest and Relax

02.30pm: Cntinue the sightseeing tour. We will visit the following sites:

Day 05: Drive back from Lumbini to Kathmandu – 9 Hours.

07.00am: Board on a private van/bus for a ride back to Kathmandu. It may take about 9 hours to reach Kathmandu.

What’s the best season for tours in Nepal?

Tours in Nepal are possible throughout the year. However, if you would like to observe and be part of major festivals in Nepal, then target between Autumn and Spring.

How can I book tours in advance?

If you are planning for Nepal tours during peak tourist season, then you should book the trip two months prior to your arrival. It is not necessary to make reservation, however we would like to recommend making advance booking because of high demand for hotel occupancy. If you want to combine other activities like Hiking, Bungee Jumping, Mountain Biking, Trekking and expedition then that can be also done.

Do I need experience for this tour?

Normally tours  in Nepal, be it cultural, natural or any other, is suitable for all kinds of people. But you must be in good health and travel fitness.

What kind of food can I expect during the tour?

Standard and delicious food will be available during the trek. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods can be expected in lodges or hotel. You can have breakfast and dinner in the hotel or lodges where you are staying while lunch is mostly outside during sightseeing or when travelling.

What type of accommodation can I expect on tours in Nepal?

Is the land transportation comfortable?

It is difficult to put a figure. The cost will vary according to your needs for shopping and where and what meals you want to eat in city areas. It is better to have at least 100 USD or its equivalent Nepali currency.

How large is a tour group?

For each day there will be several groups, but if you want single tours we can arrange that as well. Each group will have maximum of 15 people led by an experienced English speaking guide. Large groups can easily get involved in activities like yoga, meditations and other.
