Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345 meters).

Accommodation: Hotel of your choice (B.B)

Highlights: Sightseeing in Thamel

01.00-02:00pm: Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport.

03.30pm: Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel.

04.30pm: Take rest in hotel.

05.45pm: Go for a sightseeing around Thamel accompanied by our guide.

6.45pm: Return to hotel for overnight rest.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

Accomodation: B.B. in Kathmandu Hotel

07.00am: Breakfast at hotel.

08.00am: City tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for day sightseeing tour. We will visit the following sites:

1) Boudhanath Stupa: one of the largest and holiest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2) Swayambhunath Stupa: Also called the Monkey Temple, Swayambhunath is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in Kathmandu Valley and a World Heritage Site.

3) Pashuatinath: It is the holies Hindu shrine and one of the four major pilgrimage sites for Hindus

4) Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is a medieval collection of statues, palaces, courtyards, temples and narrow alleys. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5) Patan Durbar Square: Another world heritage site, Patan Durbar Square is equally mesmerizing and enchanting.

02.00pm: Lunch

03.00-04.00pm: Relaxation in hotel.

06.00pm: Dinner at Nepalichulo Restaurant with Nepalese cultural dance performances.

08.00pm: Return to hotel.

Day 03: Sightseeing in Bhaktapur-Nagarkot . Overnight at Hotel.

Accomodation: B.B. in Nagarkot Hotel

Highlights: Visit two UNESCO World Heritage Site monuments, including a stopover at Thimi.

07.00am: Breakfast at hotel.

08.00am: City tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a drive to Nagarkot.

09:00am: Stop at the town of Thimi. Thimi is a medieval town famous for pottery making. After observing for a while , we will continue our ride.

10:00am: We will stop at Bhaktapur, a world heritage site. Also known as the town of the devotees, Bhaktapur is rich in medieval arts, architecture, culture, and lifestyle. We will visit the pottery square, Bhaktapur durbar square, museums and temples.

12.30-1.30pm: Lunch in a restaurant in Bhaktapur.

2:00pm: After lunch we will continue our journey towards Changu Narayan, another World Heritage Site. According to the stone inscription found in the site, Changu Narayan is the oldest temple in the Kathmandu valley. It is built in the oldest pagoda style that originated in Nepal.  The route to Changu Narayan passes through small villages and farmlands with farmers work their fields.

3:30pm: After exploring Changu Narayan, we head toward Nagarkot.

4.40: Arrive at Nagarkot. Nagarkot lies 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2,175 m above sea level. It is one of the most popular hill station to observe panoramic Himalayan views.

Day 04: After Breakfast Nagarkot-Dakshinkali-Chobhar-Pharping.

Accomodation: B.B. in Pharping Hotel

Highlights: Visit the scenic hills of Daishinkali and Chobhar

07.00am: Breakfast at hotel.

08.00am: Drive to Dakshinkali.

10:00am: Explore Dakshinkali temple, which is surrounded by green mountain forests. Dakshinkali is a popular Hindu goddess and is visited by hundreds of  pilgrims  every day.

11.00am: Further we will head to Chobhar from Dakshinkali. The gorge at Chobhar is believed to have been created by Manjushree in his attempt to drain the lake from Kathmandu Valley to start human settlement. We will also visit the temples and caves here.

12.30-1.30pm: Lunch in a restaurant in Chobhar.

2:00pm: After lunch we will head towards Pharping, out last stop for the day. Pharping has several Buddhist & Hindu monuments, temples and monasteries and affords splendid views of typical Nepali villages and hills.

4.00pm: We will spend rest of the day in Pharping sightseeing around.

6.00: Dinner at a local hotel. Overnight rest.

Day 05: Visit to Budanilkantha and Shivapuri National Park.

Accomodation: B.B. in Kathmandu hotel

Highlights: Visit the sacred site of Buanilkantha as well as Shivapuri National park

07.00am: Breakfast at hotel.

08.00am: Drive to Budanilkantha.

 10:00am: Explore the temple and surroundings at Budanilknatha.  Budanilkantha is a faous religious site for both Hindus and Buddhists, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple has a colossal statue of Lord Vishnu reclining on a bed of snakes.

11.00am: We will then go for natural exploration in Shivapuri National Park. Shivapuri National park is a famous travelers destination. The park is home to variety of floral and faunal species.

12.30-1.30pm: Lunch in a restaurant in Shivapuri.

2:00pm: After lunch we will head back to Kathmandu

3.00pm: Arrive at the hotel. Take a rest.

6.00: Dinner at a Nepali restaurant with cultural performane.

8.00: Back to hotel for overnight rest.

Day 06: Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.

Today is the last day for you. Hope we have enjoyed the tour with us and hope to see you again in the Nepal for other activities. Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a tour operator from Osho World Adventure will transfer you to the airport.

Tours in Nepal are possible throughout the year. However, if you would like to observe and be part of major festivals in Nepal, then target between Autumn and Spring.

It is difficult to put a figure. The cost will vary according to your needs for shopping and where and what meals you want to eat in city areas. It is better to have at least 100 USD or its equivalent Nepali currency.

How large is a tour group?

For each day there will be several groups, but if you want single tours we can arrange that as well. Each group will have maximum of 15 people led by an experienced English speaking guide. Large groups can easily get involved in activities like yoga, meditations and other.
